Korean visa for 5 years for temporary residents and permanent residents in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang cities
Visa Multiple 5 years, 30 days: multiple entry visas with a term of 5 years, maximum stay per entry for 30 days. For example, if you are granted a visa on 1 January 2019, the visa period will be from 01/01/2019 to 01/01/2024. In these 5 years, you can enter Korea at any time, as many times as you want, but each entry is 30 days at most.
Issued objects
Vietnamese citizens permanently or temporarily reside in 3 cities for at least 1 year. Verification documents are household registration books or temporary residence books.
Documents for visa application
- Original passport is still valid for at least 6 months, with at least 2 blank pages
- Korean visa application form filled out. Paste the card image of 3.5cm x 4.5cm, white background, taken in the last 3 months. Refer to the form and how to fill out here
- Identity card or citizen identification card: 01 original, 01 copy
- Household registration book: 01 original and 01 legal notarized translation. Required time of permanent registration at least 1 year or more
- For non-provincial citizens who need temporary residence books: 01 original and 01 legal notarized translation. Request time for temporary residence registration from 1 year or more. Do not accept a temporary residence certificate
Korean visa for 10 years for high professionals, international students
- People with high professional professions such as professors, university lecturers, doctors, lawyers, auditors …
- Legal representative of state enterprises; Legal representative of private enterprises invested more than 100 billion
- A bachelor with a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Korean education or a master’s degree abroad
- Original passport is still valid for at least 6 months, with at least 2 blank pages
- Korean visa application form filled out. Paste the card image of 3.5cm x 4.5cm, white background, taken in the last 3 months. Refer to the form and how to fill out here
- Identity card or citizen identification card: 01 original, 01 copy; Accompanying the certificate, diploma … are shown in the priority group
- Professors, doctors, lawyers, auditors …: Professional certificates, original professions and translations
- Legal representative of state enterprises; Private enterprises with investment capital of VND 100 billion or more
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Korea or a master’s degree abroad: Diploma of original and copy
Address for visa applying
Citizens of Hanoi and Da Nang apply at the Embassy of Korea – Hanoi. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City only receives applications with birth places from Quang Nam to the South. Where the birthplace from Da Nang to the north to file in Saigon should have a temporary residence book from Quang Nam onwards.

- A multiple visa application fee of $ 80 is equivalent to about VND 1,848,000
Note: In the afternoon, only the records that have been taken from the morning are received. Consular fees only collect Vietnamese money, do not collect dollars. In the peak months of Korean visas (3, 4, 5 and 9, 10, 11) many visa applicants need to arrive early. The processing time is longer than usual, may take up to 14 working days.
